If you’ve noticed that GAMFT has been making a bigger buzz about legislative advocacy lately, you’d be right! But have you ever felt confused, intimidated, or thought “I just don’t understand this government stuff,” please know you’re not alone.

That’s where Virtual Lobby Day 2023 comes in. In this virtual meeting, you will learn how a bill moves through the state Capitol to become a law, how to get more involved in advocacy, and why this matters to you as an MFT and resident of Georgia.

We have big goals for 2023 and to accomplish them, we need many MFT voices. That’s why Virtual Lobby Day is open to everyone no matter your level of knowledge about legislative advocacy or your years of experience in the field. Everyone from students to seasoned clinicians are welcome!
